TC13 – New Test House Qualification Requirements

OPEN Alliance is working on PHY qualification over different speed grades. For a test house market where various test houses can be chosen to create the same result for PHY based on these specifications so that OEMs can decide whether the test reports from a test house reliable and equivalent, TC13 was established to coordinate the effort to define PHY test house qualification requirements.

Committee Goals

TC13 will cover the following areas:

Create methodology / specifications for qualification of multiple test houses to increase confidence on test results for
Conformance testing
Interoperability of devices
EMC testing
Consolidate a list of known test houses and their abilities
Define and conduct Round Robin tests for dedicated reference systems and identify test house abilities by this round robin test
